Hwy @dimberman @kaxil @ash -> I think this one must be implemented for the AIP-15 PR to be merged (see the reasoning). I will likely have a lot of other obligations and will have completely no time to do anything about this and the two related issues in the coming weeks so if anyone can take that over and implement it for the planned Alpha release this week. We can discuss it on Monday as there are likely other approaches that might be taken (the related issues are not hard pre-requisites, but without them we can significantly slow down the CI builds for everyone).
