I repeated the experiment using Airflow 2.0 on my personal laptop, which is a relatively powerful laptop with Intel 10750H 5.0 GHz 6-core/12-thread, 16 GB RAM. Below are some samples: scheduler_heartbeat_sec value|Sample Frequency of scheduler_heartbeat metric -|- 1|1.14, 1,55, 1,68 2|2.64, 2.26, 2.86, 2.24 3|3.99, 3.44, 3.96, 4.04, 4.02, 3.4 5|5.13, 5.14, 5.14, 5.17 10|10.28, 10.27, 10.29, 10.23, 10.27 30|30.29, 30.29, 30.27, 30.20, 30.29, 30.20 For some reason the 2 and 3 are noticeably bad.
