First off thank you for taking another stab at this. Turns out its a ton of work to get the next version working... >We are using snowflake connector which has a very narrow requirements for pyarrow -> 0.17.1 is the latest version supported. Pardon my ignorance here but is there no way to specify python versions for certain providers? i.e. it seems sub optimal to require that every provider support the new python version before airflow can be updated as that could lead to less popular providers blocking the rest of the community. One historical example of a single package/provider causing longterm python version issues was the snakebite package issue which caused all sorts of python 3 headaches. > The good news is that I am a Snowflake employee now and will try to make it happen :) Congrats!
