Hey @ashb I thought about much simpler approach: 1 T2 Spot Instance = 0.008 USD/hr ~ 6 USD/Month. And those machines that we need for 'quick' tasks have really, really small requirements, Why don't we create a second AutoScaling group with Say 3 x T2 spot instances (always 3 for redudancy) = 18 USD/MO. They will be constantly running so there will be no warm-up cost. We could dedicate three of the existing registration tokens to those machines and keep'em running all the time without any in/out scaling. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
