The biggest obstacle is likely not Airflow itself (which would likely run on ARM just fine), but the many dependencies it has. For macOS, upstreams need to publish ARM wheels (although my understanding is the most difficult-to-build ones already do), and for Docker Airflow will need to either push the upstream for support or develop infrastructures to build the images. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
