[RANT] The .rst is a great format that is supposed to be text readable, intuitive and flexible. However, I personally think It very much fails in the "intuitive" part. Markdown is sooooo much more `obvious` when read without having to resort to a "reallly heavy" documentation. However I think it fails big time in "get casual users to contribute to docs easily" part. Even after years of using it and writing countless pages and chapters of docs I always have to look up how to do even simple stuff like linking to another document. It does not happen in markdown. But well - likely a price to pay for being ultimately flexible -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
