Hmm, it's difficult to retrieve this bit of information. I don't think there were multiple instances of the scheduler running, but I will keep in mind this eventuality, so thank you for the hint. Anyways, I'm not experiencing the problem anymore right now, maybe related to my upgrading the system packages and rebooting.
