I will close that one for now - if it turns out that the "good" M1 support for development will not be there soon and there will be other obstacles, we might revisit that (but then any such change shoudl start with documentation in CONTRIBUTING : "if you are M1 Mac user ....." . -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
