There was a recent version of `pip` - 22.0 line that had quite a number of teething problems. Hopefully all teething problems were solved already and we should be able to upgrade to teh newer version. This might (maybe) help with solving some of the backtracking issues that started to appear during the last few days. <!-- Thank you for contributing!
