I think we know the problem already. https://pypi.org/project/snakebite-py3/ which is the dependency of hdfs has this as dependencies: ``` install_requires = [ 'protobuf>2.4.1', 'argparse' ] ``` Which means that it pulls the "argparse" project from PyPI. It is so old, that even the simple json interface does not show the dependency - we had to look it up in setup.py.
