@karakanb I recently made some "load tests" on my installation which is on CeleryExecutor, installed with docker-compose, distributed on two nodes. I made some simple Python tasks sleep for hours. My recent run was on a 13hours DAG with incremental sleeping tasks up to 6 hours. I saw no problem for the moment.
