Yes. Actually we can do things in the future - the https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/24680 is aimed to solve exactly this problem (and I hope with the next wave of providers we will start implementing it) - so that Composer team will not have to keep their own fork of the provider, instead they will be able to contribute cherry-picking they do to Airflow and we will be able to release older, more backwards-compatible versions of the provider with some of the bugfixes from main applied to them. This is a long-term solution to the problem (resulting in Composer team being able to release next version of Composer withe community-released 6.8.1 version for example) with some of the bugfixes from main but without removing some deprecations htat we removed in 7/future 8. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
