@igr - anyone can make a PR. There is no limit to it. Feel free. If you make it all works and get reviewed, it will get merged. Re: release process - I think we do not have one for the go client yet. But creating a PR AND starting a discussion about release process at the devlist is a GOOD thing to do and part of the Apache Way. And the only way to improve things if you really care about it. Raising awareness at the devlits is something that you should start if you want to get it released.
