Ran into the same issue. We also started in 2017 which should be around version 1.8 something and have upgraded since then. I ran the commands @joshowen posted and now I can open the DAG again. I am getting a `airflow dags reserialize` error though (DAGs already exist). Is it safe to delete from the serialize table and then reserialize again?
