marked as good first issue but this doesn't feel like Airflow issue. I would suggest to check with the upstream library https://github.com/googleapis/python-pubsub/blob/e0383c5583324bd7645d8e3e2b5683fd839af2a5/google/pubsub_v1/services/subscriber/client.py#L1203-L1211 The Airflow code doesn't do much with the timeout and retry parameters. In any case, few in the community have google cloud access so the best people to debug and if needed raise a PR are you or someone from the google team otherwise it's very unlikely that someone could debug it nor suggest a fix.
