BTW. @vincbeck - re our recent discussions - this was not the problem of breaking compatibility with past relases, so it is not entirely the case we talked about in https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/27854#issuecomment-1325568521 but I did end up with adding about a million tests to both common.sql provider and datbricks provider.
