While (now after reading it) I understand your comment about adding a way for DAG authors to add separate notification, the original issue was only about extending the "system level notifications" on the whole Airlfow level. I understand adding more flexible notifications that are controllable in DAG are a good idea, but if you think that's the case - maybe updating the original description of this issue (because I think your comment changed the scope of the original issue quite dramatically).
