Yep. That definitely looks like your cluster /resource problems and terminations of the pods is result of internal cluster management. You should loook at your cluster logs and see what kind of events are generating the terminations- it could be lack of resources to run the pods, or as mentioned by @csp33 it could be some uncontrolled self-management and (re)scaling of the cluster.
