URL: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/30858

Currently Airflow checks whether there is some “blocking” trigger by
creating a watchdog procedure. This watchdog procedure is very simple; it waits
asynchronously 0.1 seconds and then checks if more than 0.2 sec elapsed. If so
it logs and reports an Error, which is probably a bit harsh, and is likely to
provide false positives.

While it is true that badly written triggerer will be reported with this
procedure there could be a multitude of reasons for the procedure to yield the
error, while nothing erroneous happens. Among other situations it is possible
that a highly utilized environment with many triggers will not be able to fit
within 0.2 sec time frame.

This idea is to measure the time spend in each trigger and message to the
user only those that actually took to much time.
