@potiuk with previous_heartbeat variable I think we could tell after it recovers. I will give that a try. Also, can you tell by rephrasing saying "DB not reachable to update for a long time leading to unhealthy scheduler state", Would it be more useful than simply saying scheduler is in unhealthy state?
