I don't think there are "general guidelines" - best if you try and see what works, if you see problems. try to solve them (make sure also you are on the latest airflow version) - and if you have concrete problems that you seem to be stuck with - ask here. There is nothing better than experimenting - it allows you to learn much more and engage into meaningful conversation on concrete examples and failures rather than work on academic examples that have not been tried.
