Btw. We currently check it by tag existence. This is why by default we refuse to build provider if tag that it is build for is already set in the repo. ,--skip-tag-xheck allows to bypass it. I am not sure if we need to check Pypi. The case where we had bug and accidentally released finał versions last time is unlikely to happen again.
