   This is caused by setuptools 77.0.1 (which is the way to access distutils in 
PY3.12: https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/92584) which is installed by 
platformdirs latest version https://pypi.org/project/platformdirs/4.3.7/
   
   
   Limiting the version of platformdirs in attempt to fix this.
