I will let Brent confirm this but I believe that the calendar view followed the same path as the Gantt view. Related issue for the Gantt view here https://github.com/apache/airflow/issues/44672. TLDR: It would be nice to have these features but considering priorities both were excluded from initial 3.0 scope.
