This issue started occurring when I upgraded from 2.9.3 to 2.10.5. I've reviewed the different between the two versions and there was a slight change to the `_list_pods` method. The previous version included a k8s call wrapped in a try catch. The comment above included a link to this issue https://github.com/kubernetes-client/python/pull/2155.
