Absolutely. Our image is not FIPS compliant, and it's a reference image. And it's as easy as taking our Dockerfile and building your own image in the way that will make it FIPS compliant if you want @chrisdonlan . And even ... if you find out how - maybe contribute it back - that would be a super nice contribution. I will mark it as a good first issue for someone but usually someone who "needs" things like badly (mostly because they are commercial users who have such requirements) should spend all the time needed to contribute it back to the community. That would be my expectation as an open source maintainer towards the commercial users who have commercial expectations - that they actually commercially contribute it back. If you are serious about it @chrisdonlan - ask your employer to fund that work and do it. Marking it as a good first issue, maybe some other commercial users would like to contribute it as well, but you will have to wait for such users to materialise @chrisdonlan - so if you want to have it quickly, contributing it back is the best course of action for you. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
