My understanding may be incomplete, but it seems that referencing ORM models inside Alembic migrations can be risky because the models may change over time, while migrations are expected to remain stable. In this case, the 2.9.0 trigger migration’s use of the Trigger ORM appears to cause downgrade failures once new columns are added later. Avoiding ORM usage in migrations and possibly adding a guard to prevent this pattern in the future might help, but I’m very open to maintainer guidance on the best approach. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
