The 3.3.2 release (#73279) updated `scripts/ci/prek/supported_versions.py`, which regenerated the version life-cycle table, but the README "Stable version" header of the Requirements table and the `pip install` / constraints examples stayed on 3.3.0. Updating those was a separate manual step in the release process, and it was missed (fixed by hand in #73770). The `update-supported-versions` hook now takes the stable version from the first row of `SUPPORTED_VERSIONS` and rewrites those pins too, so the release step that edits `supported_versions.py` is enough. The hook fails if any pin site stops matching, so rewording the README cannot silently turn the sync off. The release guide no longer lists the manual step.
