Manual backport of #73859 to v3-3-test, cherry-picked with `-x` from 5eba7439d76b71a642a2955a483236f474b2e880. The automated backport failed on a context conflict in `test_trigger_timetable.py`: main has run-immediately tests after the partition test that v3-3-test does not, so the new test was appended after them.
