Selecting Gantt on a Dag run immediately reverts to Grid if another browser tab has a Dag or task overview open. Those pages receive the shared `default_dag_view` preference and write Grid back because their route has no `runId`. Keep the stored preference and derive the supported view for the current route instead. Pages without a run display Grid without overwriting Gantt in other tabs; opening a run restores the remembered Gantt view. closes: #74514 Validation: - All four regression tests fail against the original source and pass with the fix. They cover loading a saved Gantt preference on overview, receiving a cross-tab storage event, selecting Gantt with overview mounted, and navigating from overview into a run. - The four regression tests and six nearby existing tests pass (10 total). - Prettier, scoped ESLint, full UI TypeScript checking, and the scoped TypeScript configuration used by the pre-commit hook pass. - Both production UI builds and the simple auth manager UI test pass. - Remaining applicable prek checks pass with UI hook commands executed separately. The Windows commit hook could not bootstrap its Python environment; checks were run separately before committing. - `breeze verify` selects the two UI suites. A clean full core UI run is in progress; this PR remains a draft until its result is known. An earlier overlapping run was interrupted by a dependency reinstall and is not counted as successful validation. The reproduction uses the real DetailsLayout, React Router, and storage hook with API calls and leaf rendering stubbed. A live two-tab Airflow session and before/after screenshots were not captured. --- ##### Was generative AI tooling used to co-author this PR? - [X] Yes — Codex (GPT-6) Generated-by: Codex (GPT-6) following [the guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#gen-ai-assisted-contributions) --- Drafted-by: Codex (GPT-6) (no human review before posting) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
