Dev-iL opened a new pull request, #74596: URL: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/74596
related: #74555 Skip workspace providers excluded for the image’s Python version, along with dependencies needed only by those providers. This prevents unsupported dependencies from blocking image builds for supported providers. For example, `breeze ci-image build --python 3.14`, where Vespa is excluded: - **Before:** `uv sync --all-packages` still installs excluded providers’ dependencies; an incompatible dependency can fail the build. - **After:** excluded providers and their exclusive dependencies are omitted, allowing the remaining workspace to build and be tested. <details> <summary>AI extended summary</summary> - Exclusions are read from workspace members’ `requires-python`. - The helper resolves retained members and their development dependencies using exported lock pins as constraints. - Validation rejects unlocked packages, differing versions, and excluded members fetched from an index. - Dependency-upgrade builds refresh the lock before applying the same filtering. - Dockerfile copies are generated through the existing script-inlining hook. - Added tests cover filtering, resolution, installation routing, and failure propagation. Tests were not run during this review or drafting session. </details> --- ##### Was generative AI tooling used to co-author this PR? <!-- If generative AI tooling has been used in the process of authoring this PR, please change below checkbox to `[X]` followed by the name of the tool, uncomment the "Generated-by". --> - [x] Yes (please specify the tool below) <!-- Generated-by: Codex (GPT-6.1-Sol) following [the guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#gen-ai-assisted-contributions) --> --- * Read the **[Pull Request Guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#pull-request-guidelines)** for more information.
