related: #74555 pydantic 2.14 types the argument of `TypeAdapter` as `TypeForm[T]`, so mypy rejects the Lang-SDK decoder, which builds its union from `get_args(ToManager)[0]`. That is not a static type expression. `uv.lock` still pins pydantic 2.13.5, where it passes, but Python 3.15 needs 2.14 for wheels. The message union gets a name, `ToManagerMessage`, and the Lang-SDK decoder is built from it with its own precisely typed alias. Each concrete processor class now declares its own `decoder`, so the Lang-SDK one no longer overrides an invariant `TypeAdapter[ToManager]` from the base class. No runtime change: the decoded union and its discriminator tags are the same. Checks run: * `mypy-airflow-core` and `mypy-task-sdk` are clean on pydantic 2.14.1 and on 2.13.5. * `airflow-core/tests/unit/dag_processing` and `test_dag_command.py` in Breeze on Python 3.11: 842 passed, 8 skipped (Postgres only). --- ##### Was generative AI tooling used to co-author this PR? - [X] Yes (please specify the tool below) Generated-by: Claude Code (Opus 5.5) following [the guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#gen-ai-assisted-contributions) --- * Read the **[Pull Request Guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#pull-request-guidelines)** for more information.
