Capture bundle version metadata when a parse starts, defer refreshes while the current source is in use, and discard results from superseded sources. Failed discovery preserves existing definitions and import errors for the affected source instead of treating them as deleted. Layer 2 of the seven-part replacement for #74233. Builds on #74788; GitHub's Files changed tab shows this layer's changes. Focused manager, processor, and collection coverage: 459 distinct tests passed, 7 expected skips. Two initial import timeouts passed unchanged on retry.
