Noting the overlap: #75179 targets the same issue and was opened first. I missed it when I searched before opening this — GitHub's PR search did not return it for #75172 at the time — so this was not meant as a parallel attempt. The two are not equivalent, which is the only reason I am leaving this open rather than closing it. The Dag in #75172 puts the operator inside an expanded task group, and that child is a plain `TriggerDagRunOperator` with no `partial_kwargs`: ``` is MappedOperator : False trigger_dag_id : MappedArgument(...) partial_kwargs : None ``` So it goes through the `isinstance(task, TriggerDagRunOperator)` branch, not the `MappedOperator` one. With #75179 applied to current `main` the issue's Dag still raises `unhashable type: 'MappedArgument'`; with this PR it serializes. `ExternalTaskSensor` is reachable the same way on `external_dag_id`, so this guards all four branches. I have commented on #75179 with the same detail.
