Closing this: the change landed in #75472 (merged 24 Oct). `scheduler_job_runner.py` on `main` already reads `ti.set_state(state, session=session)` on the Dag-lookup-failure branch, and that PR also added `test_process_executor_events_dag_lookup_failure_keeps_session_for_rest_of_batch`, which covers the same path more broadly than the test here — it asserts the rest of the batch still reaches its correct states.
