## What - Adds a temporary banner above the navbar for Airflow Summit Online Reconnect 2026 (November 4 & 5, online, free). - Adds an entry to the Announcements page. ## Why Online Reconnect is the free online edition of Airflow Summit for the community that can't attend in person. This helps people find the registration page before the event starts. ## Changes - landing-pages/site/layouts/partials/navbar.html and landing-pages/site/layouts/_partials/navbar.html: banner text and link to https://airflowsummit.org/onlinereconnect (both copies of the navbar, same as in #1566) - landing-pages/site/assets/scss/_shared.scss: header offsets bumped by 40px so the banner does not cover the navbar - landing-pages/site/content/en/announcements/_index.md: new entry dated November 2, 2026 ## Preview Checked locally with Hugo 0.146.7 (home and announcements pages); `lint-css` and `lint-js` pass. ## Follow-up The banner should be removed once the event ends (November 5). cc @eladkal @amoghrajesh -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
