That’s not the point. The goal is to discuss the problem, agree on the desired behavior, and then implement what we agreed on. Whoever implements it should also explain how they tested and verified it in a real environment. Fair enough, and sorry for the noise. My PR (#76259) was meant to fix the bug in #73861, where a run shows the commit of a later parse instead of the one it ran. It wasn't an implementation of this feature. The PR description didn't make that clear: it should have opened with the bug it fixes and linked only #73861. Linking it here was my mistake.
