Backport of #76224 to `airflow-ctl/v0-1-test`. The `backport-to-airflow-ctl/v0-1-test` label did not produce a PR because the cherry-pick conflicts with this branch. The dry-run endpoint returns the runs a backfill would create, but `create_dry_run` parses that response as a `BackfillResponse`. This branch has no missing-field fallback on that path, so the symptom is worse than on main: every `airflowctl backfill create-dry-run` exits 1 with `Response did not match the airflowctl model BackfillResponse` instead of printing the runs. Differences from the commit on main: - `create_dry_run` uses `model_validate_json`, like its neighbours, because `validate_response` is main-only. - `test_create` and `test_create_dry_run` stay separate, because main's parametrized `test_create` depends on main-only `exclude_defaults` behaviour. - The end-to-end test drops the comment about a pre-3.2 warning, because this branch does not emit one on this path. The new end-to-end test has not been run: it does not run locally here, and this PR's CI may not include it. It should be run against real servers before the next airflowctl release.
