@mik-laj. Instead of pushing the code to the repo, we can even have committer trigger automatically PR generation to the "client repository". This is done for example in Apache Beam. When a reviewer (committer) wants to do the review, they can comment the PR with a specific phrase and that might generate PR in the "client" repository on behalf of that commiter. This way you will see the PR to client repo generated out of the PR to apache-airflow.
