BrechtDeVlieger commented on issue #3770: [AIRFLOW-3281] Fix Kubernetes operator with git-sync URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-airflow/pull/3770#issuecomment-446710067 I'm not sure if it's related to this issue, but a few weeks ago git-sync v3.0.1 was released where the permission requirements of 'runAsUser=0' are no longer required. It solved some of the discovery issues for me, as I don't run airflow as root.
