Iceberg can only obtain the total data file size from the partitions table. When a table contains delete files, the reported size is smaller than the actual size. I have created an Iceberg issue to track this (https://github.com/apache/iceberg/issues/14803 ). Once Iceberg supports reporting delete file sizes in the partitions table, we can update this accordingly. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
