In HDFSFileSource.java :
{code}
  @Override
  public void validate() {
...
      } catch (IOException | InterruptedException e) {
        throw new RuntimeException(e);
      }
{code}
Source#validate() should be allowed to throw exception so that we don't resort 
to using RuntimeException.
