lukecwik opened a new pull request #11190: [BEAM-9565] Fix threading issue with WatermarkEstimatorsTest URL: https://github.com/apache/beam/pull/11190 The issue was that the thread was calling an update method that wasn't going through the wrapper object which was providing synchronization. Since the wrapper objects only support exposing ManualWatermarkEstimator and TimestampObservingWatermarkEstimator, there was no way to meaningfully test the base one since it doesn't expose any "update" methods. ------------------------ Thank you for your contribution!
