Not a silly question :) IMHO, this is what Beam is about.
This is going to resolve into two issues: 1) Adding the API support for JDBC in
Beam 2) Implementing it in the runners.
Since this comes from one of our users, could we make this a sub task of the
Beam API JDBC issue? Is there one [~jbonofre]? Otherwise I'll open one.
