I am not convinced of the value of this ticket. As rjollos points out
there are a number of existing ui elements that will get you to a number
of useful places including the wiki home and the dashboard. Obviously
going back to the page that you were on is generally trivial by hitting
the browser back key.
On that basis, and with no arguments for this behaviour in the last 2
months, I will close this ticket for now as wontfix.
