[trac:GenericTrac] is a proposal that has not been implemented in Trac. If
the Trac teams implements the design then we would probably follow their
lead.

I don't see the cause-effect relationship. Each product has a separate
numbering sequence, meaning there will be ticket !#1 in product P1 and P2.
