Deleting the local artifact is a correct thing to do, I'm not sure *why* you
need to test if it is built remotely.
The tests always start with a clean slate, so if you are using the
`create_artifact_share` utilities, it will be in a clean empty state at the
beginning of each test, or you can explicitly delete from the artificial remote
(there are some tools for that if you look into that utility toolbox).
