@julianhyde , Here's the discussion: https://lists.apache.org/thread/zyrftnms4p31lsvm93x1cynhnjnccbq7 So far it looks like I broke both calcite-avatica and calcite builds by merging https://github.com/apache/calcite-avatica/pull/161. That is why I try to keep the thing going and try to figure out to heal both builds without reverting PR#161.
