the original formulas, then you can do that upfront and avoid expansion 
altogether. That's why I asked about the complexity. An alternative is to do 
the expansion work and if the result becomes too big abort and undo the 
transformation. @asolimando pointed to a BLOAT parameter which can control the 
maximum size.
   
   Thank you, I will make changes in the next commit and try to add the rule we 
mentioned.
