Review Comment:
   I'll create a ticket.
   I'd prefer to keep them, with a clarifying comment stating that this 
simplification is "controversial" and should be reviewed. So that when the 
follow-up ticket gets addressed, these tests would (should) fail and they would 
need to be adapted. Otherwise, if we remove them, we can risk that they never 
get reinstated back again.
